Abraham Kavalakatt 

Abraham Kavalakatt, born in 1954 at Ezhacherry, Kerala, India, became a Salesian in 1975, after initial philosophical, academic and theological studies was ordained priest in 1985. He did his Masters in Spiritual Theology at Salesian Pontifical University at Rome and Ph.D, in Dogmatic Theology from the Faculty of Italia Centrale at Florence. He has co-authored the book “L’Apostolo Tommaso e il Suo cammino di fede” – Ortona, Italy. Obtaining a Masters in Counselling, served several years as Superior of Salesian communities, Director of Youth Pastoral, Retreat Preacher and Spiritual guide to religious and laity. Currently he is the Director of the Salesian Spirituality Centre and Salesian Community at Loreto, Ancona, Italy.
